Playa Chac Mool
Feel the real Mexico beach
Chac Mool is generally the first choice for locals looking to have a day out in the stunning Hotel Zone because it’s generally much quieter than the others. It has the same white sands, amazing waters, and central location as Playa Forum, but there are no loungers or umbrellas. This is the ultimate casual beach day in Cancun. Probably one of the best beaches in Cancun for backpackers and those wishing to get the feel of “real Mexico” at the beach
Playa Norte
Isla Mujeres
Playa Norte “North Beach” is not located in Cancun, but it’s just close enough and amazing enough to warrant a place on our list of best beaches in Cancun. Playa Norte is at the northern end of Isla Mujeres (a small island off Cancún’s coast) and has the best paddling water. No rocks, no waves, little seaweed; here there is only clear, warm, shallow waters. This is one of the only spots where you’ll get an uninterrupted view of the sun setting over the sea when in Cancun.

Playa Forum
In the heart of the hotel zone
Playa Forum is one of the most popular public beaches in Cancun. In the famous Punta Cancun area which can be found just behind Coco Bongo, an infamous nightclub. Playa Tortuga
Heart of the Hotel Zone
Playa Tortugas is one of the best beaches in Cancun for families with little kids; it’s in the Hotel Zone and has almost no waves at all. What’s more, it’s close to the marina, a beachfront restaurant and a bungee tower over the water (if you want a thrill). The beach itself isn’t too big, however, and gets crowded on the weekends. While you’re here, why not try some of the local seafood? It’s fresh, it’s well seasoned and it will revolutionize your relationship with fish.

Playa Linda
Best family beach in Cancun
Playa Linda is one of the best family options in Cancun for its flat and calm waters, the beauty of the Sigfrido Canal and the coming and going of the boats that enter and leave El Embarcadero. In addition to the fact that near this beach there are several tour operators such as jet ski rentals.
Playa Caracol
A great family beach
This Cancun beach owes its name to Plaza Caracol, which is exactly in front of the place.
Playa Caracol has a privileged location at the entrance of the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, since it is surrounded by other plazas, restaurants and clubs.
In itself the beach is small, however and thanks to the friendliness of the nearby hotels, you can take the route to meet other places like the famous lighthouse of Cancun, which is a few meters from this beach.
